Food Craft:Sweet Peep Nests

Look What We Made
{"Peep, Peep"}

To you these may look like cute baby chicks sitting on a pretty cookie! We prefer to call them something else....

It seems no one can resist a Peep when it comes to Easter treats! So... we decided Peeps would be the perfect partner for our newly found pink and white cookies. Together, we call them "Peep Nests"!

All you need to put these together in no time are...

Cookies, Peeps and Toothpicks!
Super easy, super quick and super cute!

Simply unwrap the cookies and Peeps, turn the cookie face up {with the marshmallow side showing}, stick the toothpick through the Peep, and secure on top of the cookie!
1, 2, 3 EASY!

Here are a few ideas we thought these could be used for:
dessert table sweets, favor at a place setting for Easter, baby shower or birthday party, cupcake topper, cake decoration, Easter S'mores Bar, {just supply the mini chocolate bar and another cookie to sandwich it and warm it up}!

We hope you have been inspired to get in there and make something using some Peeps this weekend!  Remember to keep it Homespun!

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord,
And He ponders all his paths.
Proverbs 5:21
