Easter bread memories from childhood.
Our Portuguese grandfather who was a baker would bring this bread to our house every Easter. We looked forward to it being part of the family Easter dinner every year. The bread always fascinated us as kids, and we thought it was magical how the bread had colored eggs on top! We haven't eaten our grandfather's special Easter bread recipe in many years, but this year I am considering baking an Easter Bread for our family Easter gathering.
This lovely Easter Bread loaf reminds me of my grandfathers traditional Easter bread with it's colorful eggs and golden brown color. I can smell it now! Here is another bread.
This Easter Bread is a sweet bread, made Italian style, and made into individual breads. This way every one can have their own little Easter bread. Love the colorful sprinkles on top which add to the festivities!
The addition of Easter Bread into your families Easter meal tradition is sure to be a welcomed one.If you don't already make a tradtioinal Easter Bread, why not try out one these recipes this Easter and see what your family thinks! They may just want to make it part of your family Easter meal tradition from now on!
