Remember the clothespins from yester year?!
The wooden ones with the spring inside.The ones that had that certian scent of wood, fresh air and sunshine from hanging on the clothesline!The ones you used as your "charm" for playing hopscotch. I know some of you ladies, and gentlemen out there can relate.
Oh those vintage and nostalgic wooden clothes pins!
The good old days, not that I am that old mind you! So today, here is a twist on the beloved wooden clothespin. A little shabby, a little chic.
Materials you will need:
Wooden clothespins.Scrapbook paper.Lace. Paper flowers.Scissor. Hole punch.Hot glue. Mod Podge.
Directions:Cut strips of scrapbook paper the length and width of the clothespin for both sides of the clothespin.
Glue scrapbook paper strips to the clothespin on both sides.
Cut a 2-21/2 inch rectangle piece of lace. Assemble your flower to your liking. Glue you flower layers together.
Take your cut piece of lace and twist it to look like a bow tie and glue it to the back of your flower.
Use a hole punch to punch our a dot for the center of your flower and glue it on to the flower.
Glue your flower onto your clothespin at the top.
