Enchanting Party Butterflies

Welcome your guests with butterflies! Don't we all love butterflies whether in the garden or at a party! Invite these enchanting butterflies to your next party as party favors or  party decorations, or both! They are super easy to make and will fit into your party planning budget!
Materials you will need:
Sheer ribbon .Pipe cleaners 2 per butterfly. Skewer sticks.Hot glue. Craft butterflies.{ours are from the Dollar Tree and one type is a felt iron on for fabrics and the other has a twist wire on back for crafting}

Attach butterfly to skewer stick. If using the felt butterfly: Poke the sharp end of the skewer through the bottom of the butterfly as shown below. You may want to add a dab of glue to the stick once you made the hole and insert. If using the wire butterfly: Wrap the wires around the dull end of the skewer. Apply a dab of glue to secure. Cut off the sharp end of skewer.

Take your pipe cleaner and begging at the top near the butterfly, begin wrapping the pipe cleaner around the skewer. Apply a dab of glue at the top where the pipe cleaner begins to secure it. Continue wrapping and gluing as needed until you reach the end. Secure with dab of glue.

    Cut ribbon to desired length and tie onto the skewer at the top under the butterfly.

Finished!!! Now wasn't that easy!
There are so many possibilities for using these pretty little butterflies! Here are just a few ideas: As centerpieces at the beginning of the party and then they become magic, enchanted butterfly wands for the girls to play with. Place them inside candy vessels on a dessert/candy buffet table. If you make some adjustments, they could be used as cupcake or cake toppers!

We hope we have inspired you! Remember, keep it Homespun!

                                                     I love you, O Lord my strength.
