Pail of Apples {Teacher Gift}

Give your child's teacher an A+! The end of another school year is upon us now and we wanted to give the teachers one last little token of gratitude and appreciation to show how much they mean to us! A Homespun, heartfelt gift from the heart is what we have come up with to gift our teachers with. We decided to go with an "apple" theme, since teachers and apples go so well together!
This is how we put it together.
Lovely thank you cards!
                            Homemade mini apple pies!
                                Super cute "thank you" teacher printables!
This is what you will need:
These lovely little note cards can be found at the lovely and talented home of the  TomKat Studio. While you are there picking these up, take a few minuets and check out the rest of the lovely pretty things they offer from free printables to beautiful inspirational party ideas! You won't be disappointed!
These darling apple printables are just perfect for a teachers gift and come from Anything But Perfect blog!
She has a really cute blog and offers some really nice free printable offers, be sure to give her a look around and leave a comment, we all like those!
These little lovelies are a great way to let the teacher know she/he is an A+ in your child's eye! Jana Wilson of Cut&Create blog offers these and many other free downloads! Have a look around at all the wonderful posts and ideas she has to offer!
Mini Apple Pies
To make these you will need:
Apple pie filling homemade or store bought. Pie crust dough homemade or store bought. Biscuit cutter or other small circle shape cutter. Sanding sugar.
Roll out your pie crust dough. Cut out rounds. you will need two rounds per mini apple pie.
Place a teaspoon size amount of apple pie filling in the center of one of the dough rounds.
Place the other dough round on top. Using a fork, press and seal all the way around your little pie.
Add a decoration if desired.
Using a little milk, brush the pie and sprinkle with sanding sugar.
Bake at 450 for 15 minuets or adjust to fit your oven type.
Love the look of homemade apple pies! In our case the crusts in some spots usually comes out of the oven a little darker than in some spots. That's alright, they taste great!

We hope we have inspired you to create a "pail of apples" for your child's' teacher!
It doesn't take much to make someone know you are thankful for helping your child learn during the school year.
Remember, keep it Homespun!

                                                Dominion and awe belong to God;
                                               he establishes order in the heights of heaven.
                                                 Job 25:2
