Strawberry Shortcake {Gluten Free}

Eat your cake, waffles and biscuits
 and be gluten free & happy!

If you follow a Gluten Free lifestyle because of Celiac Disease or because you feel healthier not having wheat in your diet, than eating gluten free has just gotten a little easier!

If you have been missing certain baked goods like pancakes, waffles, biscuits and .....strawberry shortcake,
because of gluten, we found a product that will give you back some freedom! Unfortunately, eating gluten free is not inexpensive, even when you mix up your own flour/baking mixes, it costs more than the "normal" flours, baking mixes, etc. However, occasionally we will bite the bullet!

We gave the recipe on back of the Bisquick box for strawberry short cake a try.
It calls for eggs, butter, sugar and milk. {Not a Vegan or Diary Free recipe, but could be changed up}.
The short cake is not the typical what you are used to, so be forewarned. It is more like a Bisquick biscuit in texture.
It was tasty enough alone, but when you add on your strawberries and whipped cream, yum! My family, husband and eight year old son ate them without any off comments, surprising since they will tell you like it is!
This may not make the mouth of one who eats gluten water, but it just might cause those eating gluten free to start entertaining the possibility of making some strawberry shortcake one day real soon!

Remember, keep it Homespun!
Let your conduct be without covetousness;
be content with such things as you have.
For He Himself has said "I will never leave you nor
forsake you"
Hebrews 13:5
