Bathroom Shelf Freshen Up!

A coat of spray paint and some seashells! Since we don't have an unlimited budget for home improvement projects, we took a look around to see what we could "improve" on with a few inexpensive supplies. Several posts back, we showed you how to spruce things up in the bath using seashells. We are continuing on with that theme today with our shelf makeover. With just a few subtle changes, an old shelf gets freshened up!

We took the shelf down off the wall and brought it outside for a quick washing prior to spray painting it.
Once it was clean and dry we spray painted it with {my crush} Dover White colored spray paint.
Once the shelf was dry, we hot glued on our spray painted seashells.
Love how some of the sand color from the seashell is showing through on the painted shells.
After the shells were dry we rehung the shelf in the bathroom.

We placed our tea light sand castle, sea foam blue vase and seashell pedestal bowl on our shelf.
Must say, it looks alot better now with just some simple spray paint and seashell decoration! We hope we have inspired you to take a look around at what you can makeover in your home that will not break the budget in the process, but will deliver favorable results!

O Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
