Summer Reed Diffusers

Ready to brighten things up?!These sweet, petite  fragrance reed diffusers will bring a little Summer indoors and happy up a space instantly!
We thought it would be fun to liven up the look of these rather plain diffuser bottles and get instant results!
Who couldn't use a little pop of color here and a fresh scent their?!

We choose pink for Summer, and red and yellow to match the kitchen.
Materials you will need:
Tissue paper. Paper flowers. Beads, Mod Podge. Embellishment such as a flower {for front of bottle}.Reed diffuser {ours is from the Dollar Tree}.
Remove label from bottle. Cut or tear tissue paper and begin applying it using Mod Podge. Apply as much tissue paper as desired. We left the bottom of the bottle and the top near the cap free of paper since we liked that look. Once completed, apply a thin coating over the tissue paper. Allow to dry.
While the Mod Podge is drying, assemble your reed flowers. Insert the reed through the hole(s) in the flower.
Insert your bead on top of the flowers.

After your bottle is dry embellish it with your flower.
Open up the cap, apply the wood collar and insert your flower reeds!
Now, breath in the fresh scents and enjoy!
It doesn't take much in terms of items, time or money to bring a little life to a room that may need a little "pick me up"! Something as simple as this project tucked on a window sill, desk or bookcase is sometimes more appealing than a more elaborate, costly project.

We hope we have inspired you!
