Vintage Fourth Of July Cupcakes { Free Printables}

Time to do a little baking! With only days before the big Fourth of July celebration, you still have time to bake up some patriotic sweet treats to serve at your picnic or BBQ!
 Make it festive, make it fun, make it Homespun!

Time to be honest: We intended these cupcakes to be red, white and blue so we made a box cake mix, divided the batter into thirds and added red and blue food coloring to the batter. Well, we need to get some more professional baking food coloring because the red came out pinkish red and the blue, greenish blue! So being the frugal girls we are, we just rolled with it as not to waste perfectly good food and dressed them up with frosting and these FREE vintage cupcake toppers from Pizzazzerie!  We just love these vintage printables, how patriotic they are..

So roll up your sleeves and do a little baking this Fourth of July!
Don't forget to get you free printables from Pizzazzerie!

Remember, keep it Homespun!

The light of the righteous shines brightly;
but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.
