Good Morning:{Breakfast Cookie}

              Homemade from the Heart!
Today is my sons first day back to school as a big third grader! No matter how big or how old they get, times likes these still tug at the heart stings. I wanted to send him back to school feeling special, knowing how much he loves these cookies, I made these his special send off to school this morning.
He was very happy, and that made my heart happy too!

Gluten Free Breakfast Cookie
Adapted from  Gluten Free Goddess. For the recipe please visit, Gluten Free Goddess
These cookies are of course gluten free, and dairy free.
They can be made vegan also by replacing fresh eggs with egg replacer.

Changes we made to the original recipe:
added in 1/2 cup chopped dried Bing cherries
omitted nutmeg and nuts

These breakfast cookies are delicious!
They freeze well, and will be a big help in the mornings
 when you need to get something filling in the family that has some nutritional value.

Using primary writing tablet paper and rubber stamps...

We dressed up our breakfast cookies for the first day of school!
We folded and cut the paper down to a size the cookie would fit in
 stamped a sweet sentament on the front
and folded over the sides

Sending my son off to his first day of third grade with a decent
breakfast and happy thoughts makes it all good!
Remember, keep it Homespun!

The days of the blameless are known to the Lord;
and their inheritance will endure forever.
Psalm 37:18
