Black Cats & Jack-O-Lanters:{Lollipop Treats}

DIY festive lollipop embellishments. As a child I remember always making our own Halloween decorations from construction paper, crepe paper, paint and crayons. Our mother was, and still is a very frugal, diy, homemade, handmade crafty woman. The thought of  something store bought was never considered. Thankfully, we have embraced that love and carry on the tradition. Today we would like to show you how to turn store bought lollipops into lollipops that are just a little bit more fitting for this time of year.

                                          To get started you will need the following:

Halloween Lollipops

Matthew Mead templates

Scissor. Tape. Ribbon. Circle punch {2" and 3"}

                                                           Scrap book paper

Download and print your templates. Using a 2" round punch, punch out your cast of characters.

 Using your 3" round punch, punch out the laying piece to put behind the cat and jack-o-lantern.

Tape the pieces together like so.

                                         Tape your embellishment onto the lollipop wrapper.

Tie on your ribbon and that's it!

I just love the look of these happy vintage faces! Reminds me so much of childhood Halloweens.

We hope you will take advantage of these great vintage Matthew Mead templates and use them to create a Halloween reminiscent of days past. Remember, keep it Homespun!

 and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.
