Happy Halloween Cupcakes!

Charming Cupcakes! Happy Halloween!!! In honor of Halloween we wanted to share with you our charming  Halloween cupcakes. These are not just your ordinary Halloween cupcakes mind you. These special Halloween cupcakes have been tattooed!!! O, you didn't know you could tattoo your cupcakes! O yes, yes yes you can and we are here to show you how easy it is to do!

We love Duff of Charm City Cakes line of baking supplies. You may recall our Tattoo Brownies post this past summer when we first experimented and fell in love with baking tattoos. We absolutely love them! We took the semi-homemade path for these cupcakes. Devils food cake mix and orange canned frosting. Duffs cupcake papers{which are a good quality paper and keeps their color well}.

Here is a look of the cupcake tattoo's packaging. Love the up to no good devilish look of Duff!

This is what the tattoos look like out of the package. They are pre cut circles for you. All you need to do is bake your cupcakes and cool completely. Frost your cupcakes and carefully peel off the tattoo and place directly onto the frosted cupcake.

These cupcake tattoos have the feel of fabric and then as they cure onto the product and turn into a sugar substance. When applying these you need to make sure that you get the entire tattoo adhered to the frosting, meaning not just the middle, but work with your finger carefully and gently around the edges of the tattoo as well.

Modern Halloween shapes and colors.

Since the tattoos only come in packages of 12 and we only bought one, we had 12 more cupcakes to decorate. In our Halloween stash we had some spiders and Peeps pumpkins. More decorating!

Wishing you and your family a safe, blessed and Homespun Happy Halloween!
