Aside from the sweet pleasure we receive from gorging ourselves on Halloween candy, there is a certain pleasure to be taken in the way candy looks when it is presented as either a gift or party favor. Hence the candy cone.We love candy cones. Love how they look, function and add a little more style to any occasion. Today we would like to show you how to make up your own candy cones for your sweet Halloween treats.

What you will need:
Matthew Mead templates. Cut out with a 2" round punch.

Scrap book paper.
Sheets for the cones and another patterned sheet for layering your embellishment.
Tape. Lollipop sticks. Ribbon. Scissor. Pencil.

Turn your scrap book paper face down and draw four half circles at each corner of the paper. You cloud also use a saucer as a guide by placing it about half way on the paper corners and tracing. Cut out your cones. Roll your paper into a cone shape and tape together. Make sure you leave enough open on the bottom for the stick.

Take you scrapbook paper you choose for the embellishment layer and punch out a 3" round.Take your template cut out and tape it to the the laying piece. With scissor or craft knife, cut two small slits in the embellishment piece: one at the top and one at the bottom and insert the stick through the slits.

Insert the stick into the cone and secure it all together placing a piece of tape on the back side where the stick meets the embellishment.

Tie on your ribbon.
Fill with your treats!

How will you be presenting your little ghosts and goblins their treats this year?!
