Vintage Halloween Favors

Vintage Halloween favor. Our love of vintage Halloween continues today as we bring you our "Halloween Poppers" or" Halloween favor". What happy little Jack-O Lanterns to greet your party guests or special trick-or-treaters with! This is a project that everyone can help out with around the kitchen table while telling Halloween stories and sipping spiced apple cider!

You will need:
Matthew Mead templates. 2" round punch. Black crepe paper streamer.  Paper towel roll cut to size or t.p. roll. Tape. Scissor. Brown craft paper. Metallic pipe cleaner{one per favor cut in two pieces}.

Begin by punching out your templates.

Size and cut a piece of craft paper to fit around the t.p. roll with some extra for the ends of your favor to fringe.

Roll and tape craft paper to t.p. roll.

Close up one end by twisting and securing with pipe cleaner. Leave the other open to fill with treats later.

Take your crepe paper and begin wrapping it around the tube. Secure its starting point with a piece of double sided tape.Work your way all the way around and secure the end with tape. Fringe the ends of the favor by carefully cutting little slits in the paper. Attach your black cat or jack-O-lantern to the front.

This is what you will end up with.

Fill the favor with special little treats.

Fun to make. Fun to give. Fun to receive! Hope you are inspired! Remember, keep it Homespun!

Finish your outdoor work
and get your fields ready;
after that, build your house.
