Christmas Mantel

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas! Since we hosted Thanksgiving this year at our house, we were very disciplined and did not bring out any sign of Christmas until after Thanksgiving! Now that all the Thanksgiving decor is put away, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Usually our mantel theme is Gingerbread men and candy canes, but this year we went with trees, paper rosette lollipops, candles and Advent Cone garland.

We swapped out our black and cooper mirror to two white mirrors hung side by side. Using many items we had on had, we decorated our mirror with pom pom garland.

Using our black candle sticks, we dressed up our candles with vellum candle wraps with ribbon detail.

 The sequin and Christmas bulb trees were a great find last season at our local Grocery Outlet for only a couple of dollars a piece! We could never have made them for the price. We covered a can with scrap book paper and used them as tree stands.

We tried our hand at making paper rosettes out of Martha Stewart Christmas scrap book paper and made them into lollipops.

We used the same Martha Stewart Christmas paper we made our lolli rosettes out of to make our Advent cones .

Is it beginning to look like Christmas at your house?! We hope we have inspired you in some small way here to help with your Christmas decorating ideas. We would love to see what you come up with!

                                                        O Lord, you have searched me
                                                        and you know me.
                                                        You know when I sit and when I rise;
                                                        You preserve my thoughts from afar.
