Candy Striped & Iced Cookies Clothespins

Simple And Sweet! When we think of  sweet and simple at Christmas time, it does not necessarily refer to something good to eat! Our little iced gingerbread men cookies and candy striped candy canes and lollipops look good enough to eat, but we would not recommend that since they are plastic buttons.

For this fun, quick little project you will need mini clothespins, gingerbread buttons, plastic candy buttons and glue gun.

Apply a couple beads or line of glue onto the backs of your buttons and place and press onto the mini clothespin for a few seconds.

Pull off any glue strings that are left.

Now you are ready to use these sweet little clips to hang up your Christmas cards or string, ribbon or garland. Use them to hang an ornament on the Christmas tree, or maybe to decorate a gift bag or card. Be creative and have fun!

We used ours to hang our Christmas Advent Cones up with on our mantel garland.

We hope we have inspired you to think of ways you can decorate some mini clothes pins to use in your decorating this Christmas! Be inspired!

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
His greatness no one can fathom.

  1. These would be perfect to hang Christmas cards up with. String over the mantel, with these attached to the cards....adorable!

  2. Simply adorable I <3 them! They turned out so stinkin' cute! Would you please share this with our readers for our Fun Stuff Fridays linky party?

  3. Aww, those are super cute and it's a great idea to use them for christmas cards!
