Christmas Advent Cones

Counting The Days! Counting down the days till Christmas is celebrated in many different ways. Calenders with chocolate candy, cleverly made boxes filled with a special treat or a Nativity where a piece of the Nativity characters are added each day. We thought we would make a cone Advent Garland this year as one of our countdown sources.

In keeping with our paper rosette lollipops using Martha Stewart scrap book paper, we rolled up some little cones.

Once the cone was rolled we secured with double sided tape. We punched a hole on each side of the cone and ran a pretty pipe cleaner through for a handle.

Instead of having to buy or cut out numbers, we simply used a marker and wrote the numbers on the cones.

The cones will be filled with little chocolates, stickers, gum and novelty erasers.

We hung them by the chimney with care...

Counting down the days until the Savior is their.

However you celebrate the countdown to Christmas, the most important thing is the REASON you are counting down. We hope you are inspired!

Surely the righteous will praise Your name
and the upright will live before You.
                                                         Psalm 140:13
