Holly & Pine Cone Wreath

 Thrifty Christmas Wreath. When looking for inexpensive Christmas decoration, don't overlook your local thrift store. If you are a thrift store shopper you are well aware of the treasures awaiting you. If not, your pocket book will thank you once you shop one! This was our wreath from last year that we recycled from the thrift store. By simply adding to the wreath some pine cones and holly berries we made a festive door wreath.

Once we got the wreath home, we went to work applying our beaded holly berries to just the right places.

                         We added in our snow tipped pine cones too.

 We also had some holly berries that were more pod looking and added those.

Once all the pine cones and holly berries were happily placed, we tied on our big red ribbon we kept from a previous year which adorned a beautiful fresh balsam  wreath.

And here she is! With just a little fluffing she looks brand new! Who would have known, {unless you tell them}, that it came from a thrift store find. Get inspired to take a trip with the girls for a little Christmas thrift store shopping!

One generation will commend Your works to another;
they will tell of Your mighty acts.
