Snowy Night Candle Jars

Silent Snowy Night. The silent, golden dance of a candle flame is absolutely mesmerizing. Couple that with the magic and wonder of Christmas time and it is pretty awesome. Since snow and candlelight are such a part of Christmas, we thought some snowy night candles were in order. Simple, easy to make using old baby food jars and craft supplies you probably have on hand this time of year.

We just love how something as simple as a baby food jar and fake snow make such a pretty statement.

What we used: Frosty Snow, Mod Podge and baby food jars.

Prepare work surface and dump some of the frosty snow onto a tray or into a box so it is easier to work with and so you can reuse the leftover again. Cover jars with Mod Podge using a paint brush.

Apply Frosty Snow all over the jar. Some spots got less but that is okay. When the candles are lit the light shows through those areas so pretty. Set aside to dry.

Once they are dry drop in the tea lights real or flame less.

Place them, light and enjoy a silent snowy night.

So cozy up this Christmas season with some snowy night candles and reflect on what the Christmas season is really all about.

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

  1. LOVE candles and the atmosphere they give ♥

  2. Very clever and well done. They look beautiful! How pretty on a windowsill or mantel, maybe with battery candle lights to avoid the hot flame. The snow gives them such a beautiful look.
