Tea Bag Envelopes

Tea Time.During all the hussel and bussel of the Christmas season, it is always nice to find a few moments of peace and quiet with a favorite cup of tea.Why not share the quiet moments a cup of tea can offer with others by placing a few favored tea bag in these charming tea bag envelopes and give them as gifts!

Aren't these tea bag envelopes the cutest little things! Who wouldn't love receiving a little bundle of these tucked into their Christmas stocking this year.

To make these you will need your favorite, or your recipients favorite tea. You will also need to download these free tea bag envelopes from The Toy Maker. O how we love The Toy Maker's designs. To get your set click on the link below.

We printed ours off on white textured card stock. We really like the look and feel of the textured paper for this project. Once printed, cut out each envelope.

Place your tea bag in the envelope.We choose tea bags with the freshness wrap and choose to leave them on.

Fold the two flaps over onto the tea bag and tape.

Make a cut on the printed line.{Hopefully you will cut straighter than we did!}

Insert the envelope flap into the slit to close up the envelope and finished!

The colors may be a little hard to see their true colors, but they are pale green, red, blue and pink. They are watercolor looking at best.

We love what is printed on the backside of the envelope.

And the sweet saying on the front flap.

Are you planning a Christmas Tea this year? These would be such a sweet way to present your tea. Or maybe your daughter and her friends would like a Christmas Tea Party this year.

                                        These would make excellent party favors.

Or as a gift all tied up in a pretty ribbon.

Maybe you just want to keep them for your special quiet tea moments. They do make tea time a little more special no matter who uses them.

                          So remember, hot tea is always a good idea! We hope you are inspired!
