While our Easter flower bouquet may not be traditional, and clearly, no lilies to speak of, it does have a cheeriness about it, and after all, it was put together in honor of HIM.
Ever since we were kids attending the Catholic church, during Easter time the color purple was used everywhere. Not sure if that is where we developed our deep love of the color purple or not. It is not a hard color to like.
But we do love purple, and we find ourselves using it at Easter also!
For our Easter flower bouquet, we gathered together as much paper as we had in just the right colors of purple and green, and got to work making pin wheel flowers.
While looking for our paper we found other items to use in the making of our flowers.
We came across, purple jewels, beads and cupcake papers. Bits of ribbon, paint chip cards and paper flowers.
A couple flowers were embellished with cupcake papers, paper flowers and beads....
While the others were embellished with flowers cut from paint chips and a big purple jewel.
What's not to like about the color purple?!
And their they are! Happy little Easter flower bouquet. Be inspired, get creative!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
And He shall direct your paths.
