Homemade Cat In The Hat Party Posters

Make your own party posters!

We needed something Cat In The Hat themed that was not expensive, simple and good looking for our backdrop dessert table. Since time was not on our side, shopping for something that would work was really not an option. A little research on line turned up something that was perfect and met all of our criteria.

Dr. Seuss Activity Page

We found these really great, FREE Cat In The Hat coloring pages from Early Moments and decided they were just what we needed. We printed them off onto glossy photo paper and than set about to make a paper frame to put around each print.

We had on hand red with white polka dot card stock that fit with the theme. We cut out four pieces for each side of the print and taped the print and frame together.

For added interest, and to cover up the fact that our frame was a little short of paper on the top and bottom, we cut out a few extra 3 inch Cat In The Hat printables and taped them to each corner to hide our error. Oh well, life goes on!

Of course, these posters could be made for any party occasion not just Cat In The Hat. Just search online for some free interesting printables and print and frame!

To give you an idea how we displayed our homemade posters, we took a picture of the posters during our party set up. The posters are taped on to our black backdrop which is a piece of foam board.

We didn't want you to miss any of our earlier party posts, so here they are:

With a little creative imagination and some free printables you can decorate for your next party with little expense and ease. Be inspired. Get creative!

Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way,
He himself will fall into his own pit;
But the blameless will inherit good.
Proverbs 28:10
