Easy DIY Beach Jars

Simple diy project

We had a lot of fun making up these easy beach jars as part of our Beach Theme Mantel. We can't always get to the beach as much as we would like to, so these beach jars give us a little shot of the beach every time we see them.

We started off by using three tall glass cylinder vases. In two of the vases we added sand we had from the dollar tree.

In the other jar we added in some sea glass which we had also from the dollar tree.

Beaches and sun umbrellas go hand in hand. We had some paper umbrellas we just thought were so darling for these beach jars.

Having a sea shell collection makes it easy when it comes to decorating a beach theme.

After we filled the jar with the sea glass we dropped in a flame less candle. Can you see it now, bonfire on the beach or lots of candles...take me away!

To the sand filled jars we added sea shells and the pretty blue umbrellas.

The blue sea glass looks like beautiful beach water. Well, one can dream right?!

With just a few items you too can create your own beach jars to decorate your home or party with a beachy feel.
Be inspired. Get creative!

Do not exalt yourself in the presence of the king,
And do not stand in the place of the great;
For it is better that he say to you,
“Come up here,”
Than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince,
Whom your eyes have seen.
Proverbs 25:6-7
