Spooky Upcycled Treat Container

Just a little spooky! We want to share with you today our upcycled vitamin supplement container turned spooky treat container! We have to say that these containers have come in pretty handy for a number of different things. The purple lid was a blessing, since we didn't have to spray paint it or try and cover it some how. So this is what we did to make our spooky treat container.....

We removed the label on the container and left the lid off a day or two to get rid of any "vitamin" smell that was there.

We used or Cricut machine and the "31 October" cartridge to decorate our container.
We choose spooky eyes. Two different sets, one set for the front of the container and one set fro the back. We thought the chains at the bottom of the container added another element of Halloween "spooky" to the look.

Here is the second spooky eye set.

For the top of the lid, we cut out a rather snarly looking jack-o-lantern.

Time to fill; up the treat container with some Halloween treats!

This time, s non-sugary sweet treat won out to grace our spooky treat container.

We leave the spooky treat container out on the kitchen counter for the spooks to grab as a quick little snack.

This Halloween don't over look the recycle bin for making some handy, inexpensive Halloween crafts! Be inspired, get creative!

A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance,
But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Proverbs 15:13
