Something woodsy. As our love for candles continues to grow, so does our love for a the things that hold them. Loving the birch candle holders but not loving the price, we decided to put our crafty heads together and make our own.... from scrap book paper!
Birch or tree bark scrap book paper. We found a tablet at the craft store that was "cabin" themed.
Clean, dry cans or same or differing size and shape.
Tape. Scissors.
How to make birch candle holders:
Lay your can down on the scrap book paper and measure with a pencil or by eye how much height and length needed to wrap around the can.
Cut your paper and prepare to secure paper to can.
Secure paper to can with tape.
We also took the opportunity to make some "tree stumps" for our Nordic Christmas trees to sit on.
Place your candles on the birch candle holders and enjoy the look!
Be inspired, get creative!
The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold,
But the Lord tests the hearts.
