Gourd Window Garland

Something for the window. We wanted to bring a little Harvest color to our kitchen window and since we bought the gourds earlier in the season and did not use them for what we thought we would, they turned out perfect for our gourd window garland.

What we used:
3-4 bags of gourds from Dollar Tree.

                                                   Embroidery thread and needle.

                                                                What we did:
Decide how long the garland should be and cut off a length of thread.  Cut more than you think for hanging or in case you measured incorrectly.

Thread needle and start threading the gourds by inserting the needle through each one. These are made of soft foam and go through pretty easily.

Keep going until you are finished stinging the gourds and hang.

We tied on some orange ribbon here and their to fill in some spots.

It does say Harvest doesn't it!

This might make a good project for the kids to do in the evening as their contribution to decorating the Thanksgiving home.
                                                              Be inspired, get creative!

Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established.
