Harvest Pumpkin Decor

Fall nibbles.  Since snacks are a way of life, we decided to put our normally empty Thanksgiving decor pieces to work by filling them with some fall nibbles. No candy to be found in these vessels. We filled them with healthy pumpkin seeds, walnuts and peanuts and they are sitting on a tray on the coffee table so they are convenient and healthy.

These pumpkins have been pulled out for many a Thanksgiving season and we are always happy to see them. The colors memories and loving thought the evoke are part of the Holiday spirit.

Of course the medium  pumpkin was filled with pumpkin seeds.

The large pumpkin we filed with shell on peanuts. there is something about shelling nuts around this time of year.

And the last pumpkin received shelled walnuts.

Never far from our  minds and hearts are our blessings. Even something as simple as the candle with the blessings sign can cause one to pause for a second or two and give the Lord thanks for our blessings.

We have had to refill our pumpkin vessels several times now since we put them out. That's fine and just another blessing to be thankful for that the family is not eating something less healthy.

Be inspired, get creative!

The preparations of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
Proverbs 16:1
