A Boys Christmas Cookies

Something he made. Watching his hands form and pat the gingerbread dough and flouring the tabletop as he went along creating his little masterpieces.

No rules, no restrictions no cares about making a mess. Just spending a rainy afternoon in the kitchen, together as he went about something he made.

His hands working magic, a boys magic, for a boys Christmas cookies.

How wonderful it is to watch little hands create what is in their heart. How a story unfolds right before your eyes. Here is our little story. Not many words, unless you read between the lines and let your heart lead.

Because Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus our Savior.

On this Christmas Eve, our hearts are so full of love.  Love of family and friends.
But most of all....full of the love of the Lord Jesus.

May your Christmas be filled with HIS love also.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.  An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:8-12
