Easy Cupcake Paper Window Garland

Something we love. As if loving red and white {always, but especially this Christmas in our decorating}, was not enough, we went ahead added the cutest little mini cupcake papers to the mix! Oh be still my heart!

Just can't get enough of this cupcake kitchen window garland.  Love how delicate and pretty it looks in the different hours of light.

This little project really couldn't be any easier. We found {at Target in the Christmas section} mini red and white Christmas cupcake papers by Wilton. We had earlier in the Fall picked up some MS bakers twine to use for different things, like this cupcake garland.

We threaded a sewing needle with the bakers twine and proceeded to string the cupcake papers. We used 19 papers per garland to fit our kitchen windows. Than we hung up the garlands along with our wreaths.

Love using last years wreaths again this Christmas and we only changed out the ribbon on the wreath for pom pom yarn string to hang them with.

The day we took pictures of our cupcake garland was a day when it was getting ready to rain, hence the photo quality.  This picture is one above our kitchen sink.

We love these fun, simple and quick little projects like this. We hope you will be inspired to make a cupcake paper window garland for your kitchen too!

                                                                         Be inspired, get creative!

He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends.

Proverbs 17:9

  1. Love your window garland. I recently have seen Christmas themed cupcake holders at the Dollar Tree. Now, I may have to make a trip back to the dollar store. Thanks for the inspiration. ;o)

  2. I am totally going to make one of these garlands! Too cute!

  3. This is really cute. I think I need to make for my new Philippines property. Thanks! :)
