Valentine Gift For Him

Do you have a couple of "males" on your Valentine's gift list like we do? They  too love receiving a thoughtful "just for them", not all girly, frilly Valentine's Day gift too.

Seems like something sweet and spicy was our solution.
Here is what we came up with for the guys for Valentine's Day.

What we used:

Clean and dry nut can with lid.
Valentine scrap book paper. Tape.
Free printable Valentine hang card from TomKat Studio.
Piece of parchment or wax paper to line inside of can.
Bakers twine/string.
Scissors  and hole punch.
Favorite candy.

How To:

Measure and cut to fit  around the can the scrap book paper.
Secure paper to can with tape.

Line inside of can with parchment or wax paper.

Put your candy in the can. We used a combination of  Cinnamon Bears, Swedish Fish and Cinnamon Valentine Hearts.

Download, print and cut out hang tag card.
Punch a hole in it and run string through the hole. Cut the string long enough to wrap around the can and use to hang the card on with.

We used two different types of scrap book paper on our cans.
This one above and the one below.

We wanted to make the cans as individual and different as the recipient intended for.

Now all there is left to do is give these away!

Does your child have a male teacher? Just swap out the hang card if that is a problem and you got a nice little teachers gift.

The cinnamon bear is surrounded by love!

Maybe we should have called this craft "A can of Love" since that is what we out it together with! Happy Valentine crafting!

Will not be blessed at the end.
