Gluten Free Easter bread

Is there one thing you need to incorporate into your Easter planning, that without it, your Easter would not be complete?

We have such fond memories of Easter bread at Easter, we would have to say this would be that one thing.

Mr. McGregor's Garden Smoothie

Still love the childhood story of Peter Rabbit and how old Mr. McGregor almost caught poor Peter in his garden.

Peter was wise  enough to know that all those garden vegetables were full of health and life! And he was willing to take a chance on getting caught, just to feed his body.

Easter Pretzel Flowers

We bought a new mold for pretzel flowers. Than we made up a few. And than were not so happy with the results. Even when you follow the instructions, sometimes a project still does not meet your expectations.

Shabby Chic Strawberry Plants

Don't forget your sisters this Easter!

The plan was to make each of the four sisters their very own shabby chic strawberry plant can.
As you can see, there are only three.

The fourth can had a little trouble with water damaging the embellishments, so had to go to plan B and gift something else.

Carrot Coconut Quick Bread - Vegan Gluten Free

Baked a few mini loaves of bread!

Seems like carrot cake is as popular at Easter as gingerbread is at Christmas! We didn't make a carrot cake, but we did make carrot coconut quick bread and added golden raisins and walnuts to the mix!

Berry Easter Basket

A second chance to give berry basket.

It was time we put those all too many, once too many "tossed", berry baskets to work for us! We thought, why not a little Easter treat basket.

And so was born our second chance to give berry Easter basket.

Vintage Style Easter Bag-skets

It's an Easter bag-basket in one!

Sometimes you just want to change things up a bit in life. Well as far as Easter baskets go anyway.

So instead of giving family and friends a "traditional" Easter basket, we thought we would use these heavy duty crafting bags and turn them into vintage style Easter bag-skets!

Easter Door Wreath

We decorated our front door for Easter!

We thought it was time to extend the Easter decorating to the outdoors. We only got as far as the front door, oh well.

Have you got your front porch decorated for Spring/Easter yet?

Celebrating Easter Vignette

How long we have dreamed of having one of these vintage shabby bird cages. When we spotted this on clearance at the craft store we knew it was time to swoop on it!

Spring Eggs & Flowers Centerpiece

We are loving the look or white milk glass pieces filled with sweet Spring flowers and eggs.

There is something so nice about the combination together that we decided we wanted to make a centerpiece as part of our Easter decorating.

Cans of Spring Flowers

If flowers have not started springing up in your garden yet,  maybe our cans of Easter flowers will get you through until they do!

Our flowers may be made of paper, but they do have one thing in common with real flowers.... pretty, cheerful and bursting with the hope of Spring!

Mini Easter Peanut Butter Cups

Do you love the chocolate and peanut butter Easter eggs this time of year? Well, we love them year round truth be told!

Although these are not those oh so famous eggs, they are chocolate and they are peanut butter and they are good!

And depending on the ingredients you choose to make these with, the more healthier they will be.

Burlap & Lace Wreath

We decided it was time to do something with some vintage lace and burlap. Since we haven't made a wreath in a while, we thought an Easter wreath was in order.

Crafting is so much nicer when you already have all the craft materials on hand. Sure happy we did!
