Easy DIY / Kids Summer Drink Cup

Are you tired of washing all those cups the kids go through over the summer? Here is a fun way for each of the kids to have a very special, "all mine" Summer drinking cup and give the maid, excuse us, mom a little dish washing break too!

While at Target we found the nice plastic tumblers for $1.79! They were already decorated with a nice spot just waiting to be filled in. Using a Sharpie marker let the kids decorate their own Summer drinking cup.

Let them have fun creating a masterpiece to drink from and use over and over all Summer long.

We simply hand wash our cups and place them on the sink for the next round of drinks. We do not let them soak in water to keep the printed and drawn on area from coming off. So far, so good!

If the kids are old enough, these are safe enough for them to wash.

We hope we have inspired you to make a Summer drink cup and while you are at it, why not make mom one too!

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,

What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels,

And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
Psalm 8:3-5
