Stenciled Candle Jars

Today we are sharing a simple little craft to add a fresh new touch to your home or office decor. Everyone loves candles and they are such a diverse decorating element. We gave some everyday food jars a nice new look and a friendly getting.

While at the craft store looking for fabric, we spotted these peel and stick painting stencils with words we liked and had a few ides of how we would like to use them.

We had a couple of jars waiting to be re purposed, and only needed to grab our black craft paint and sponge applicator to begin the project.

Since the stencil has sticky side to hold it in place, there is no need for tape as you go about applying the paint. And once you remove the stencil it can be easily cleaned off with a little soap and water and left to dry.

We applied words to the front and back of the jars for a more finished look.

White beans and white vanilla scented candles are the finishing touches for the jars.

While these were intended for indoors, they would be great on a patio or deck for a lovely evening out or a party. We hope you have been inspired!!!

Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion!
Declare His deeds among the people.

When He avenges blood, He remembers them;
He does not forget the cry of the humble.

Psalm 9:11-12
