In the past we showed you recipes for diy natural cleaning recipes, and while they are fine, today we want to share with you how to make yet another, all natural bacteria buster for your countertops with only 4 easy to find ingredients!
Of which you may already own.

So to answer the question above, we say "YES", we do need another simple natural cleaner!

Back To School Chunky Monkey Muffins

We are quickly approaching back to school time with excitement and a little sadness to see Summer ending, but hopeful for what lies ahead.

Over the Summer we have made a lot of nutritional changes due to some pesky seasonal allergies and food sensitivities, and want to continue these good habits going forward, especially with school morning breakfasts and lunches.

So, in honor of back to school, we have a tasty and simple recipe that meets our food guidelines, gluten, dairy and refined sugar free, and can be made the night before or in the morning.

diy/ Brass Chandelier Makeover

We went out with the brass and in with the class! Not sure what we are referring to? Let us explain. We had for some time a functional but not very appealing brass chandelier in the home which we avoided taking pictures of or getting into pictures because it was.... ugly. Yes there are more important things in life to be concerned about, but we just had to address this.

The only recent pictures we have of our brass chandelier was from Halloween last year. {Which we will show you}

We looked for sometime trying to find a reasonably priced replacement that would suit or decor taste, but try we did with no luck.

After a little conceiving, permission was granted to spray paint the old one!

Is it really impossible to have the best of both worlds?
To have your cake and eat it too?
Humm, while you ponder that, we will let you know that we think you CAN have the best of both worlds, at least when it comes to "healthy" and "dessert" as we have found out here with our Triple Berry Cobbler.

Garden/ Teacup Bird Feeder

Have some cracked or chipped tea cups that you simply cannot part with but don't know what to do with them?
We did. Some just too pretty and too sentimental to toss.
So, we finally got around to making our teacup bird feeder we have had on the "to do" list for sometime now.
