Cranberry Orange Cookie Recipe Review

We recently had the opportunity of participating in a recipe
review of Cranberry Orange Cookies for
Brittany Angell of Real Sustenance, who has a new e-book coming out in September 2013 that is sure to be filled with lots of great recipe ideas for those with dietary restrictions or for those who just want to clean up their diets.

Brittany Angell is the Author of the best-selling Essential Gluten Free Baking Guides Part 1 & Part 2, and is founder of the fast growing allergen free food blog, Real Sustenance.

If you or someone you know and love is looking for tasty, easy to follow, allergen free recipes, look no further than Real Sustenance.

As we mentioned earlier, this is not our recipe, we were just reviewing the recipe and can we tell you... very good! Using simple wholesome ingredients that you can be proud to let your family eat.

Although we have the recipe, we can not share it with you at this time since there may be some final adjustments made prior to release of the e-book. You will have to stay tuned to Brittany's blog, Real Sustenance and watch for the e-book debut.

But in the mean time, to give you some idea of what the cookie tastes like, think almonds, cranberries, orange, sweet and chocolate!

The addition of the chocolate drizzle was our idea and not part of the recipe, and, if we may be so bold as to say, it is the perfect compliment to the cookie recipe.

It reminded us of an almond biscotti and would be once again perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas dessert tables or cookie giving.

We just melted some of our favorite mini chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon coconut oil and drizzles the chocolate on the cookie with a spoon.

How do you like your Cranberry Orange Cookies, with or without chocolate? Be sure to check out all the great recipes at Real Sustenance!

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
