Chocolate Peanut Butter Spiders

Today we are sharing a sweet way to enjoy spiders...made of chocolate! A little peanut butter in the cauldron doesn't hurt either.

Well, we have both here! And who doesn't the combination of Chocolate Peanut Butter Spiders!

We really did not follow any scripted recipe for these. We used our favorite chocolate chips, Enjoy Life mini's about 1/2 the bag. melted them down with 1 teaspoon coconut oil. In another bowl we placed roughly 4 tablespoons organic peanut butter with 1 tablespoon local raw honey and mixed the two together.

This is the ice mold we used. We found this at Target. We placed about 1 teaspoons melted chocolate in the mold and placed it in the freezer for 10 minutes. Once set we placed 1 teaspoon of the peanut butter honey mixture in the mold, added more chocolate and placed in the freezer another 10 minutes or until set.

Removed from the mold very carefully. Store in container in refrigerator. Set out to soften prior to serving.

Here is one of our Halloween chocolate spiders.

And the Halloween spider's chocolate web.

We just love this vintage style can from once again, Target.

And if you have been noticing the silver claw, that is a set of salad tongs we picked up also from Target.

Obviously, and thankfully,  you do not have to be a professional chocolate maker to make up a batch of Halloween chocolate peanut spiders to give as a thoughtful little gift.

The LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
Psalm 34:22
