Sweetly Spooky Sweets Jar ~ Upcycle

Sorry girls, this one is for the boys!

Sometimes that is how it has to be.

As mothers of boys we love being able to craft up something especially for the boys in mind that they are sure to love.

We even picked out special allergy free sweets to fill our Sweetly Spooky Sweets Jar with.

To make your own Sweetly Spooky Sweets Jar you will need:

1 large container with lid. We recycled a used coconut oil container that we cleaned out real good.

Vinyl Cricut cutouts that you cut out on the Cricut or stickers or paper cutouts of your choice of spooky eyes, etc.
We used the Oct. 31 Cricut cartridge on ours.

Bandana, scarf or piece of fabric.

Sweet treats to fill your container.

Begin by cutting out your decorative pieces and placing them on the container.

Next you want to get ready to fill your container with your favorite, or their favorite treats.

Since we are dealing with some food allergies currently, we are focusing on gluten free, dairy free, organic, non GMO healthy options for Halloween treats.

We recently came across a lifesaver of a  company, Natural Candy Store that is also semi local to us to buy from.

Here is a look at all that we ordered.

Time to load up the container and put the lid on.

Just one more thing to do and it will be finished!

Got to keep this guys head warm with a black and white bandana!

Not a bad little project. Let's see, we recycled, upcycled. Found healthier version Halloween treats. Made a cool Halloween gift to give to take the place of all the less than desirable trick or treat candy. We did pretty good!

Wishing you a sweetly spooky, but healthy Happy Halloween!!!

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
