Make Your Own Advent Candles

Here is Advent project number two. You can see Advent number one here in case you missed it.
Just could not go without a Advent candle wreath this Christmas. There are many beautiful ways to make such a candle wreath. We went with black, red and white, a little Washi tape and chalkboard tags.

To make you own Advent Candles you will need:

Candles {we used two flame less and two real tall candles}

Washi tape

Hang tags {we found outs at Target in the dollar section along with the liquid chalk marker}

Marker

String

Begin by writing the numbers 1-4 on your hang tags. We made tags for both sides of the candles.

Wrap some Washi tape on your candles.

Cut your string long enough to tie around each candle and tie on the numbers.

Beginning on Sunday December 1st light candle number 1. We always read a corresponding scripture.
These are nice here if you are looking for something.

And continue a different reading each night lighting the same candle. Do the same thing on the second Sunday, third Sunday and fourth Sunday until Christmas.

Simply love these red berries!

Wishing you a blessed Advent.

Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
