Velum & Ribbon Candle Wraps

Do you realize how easy it is to change out your candles without having to buy new candles?

We probably already mentioned this somewhere in one of our posts, but here we go again... making candle wraps is one of our most favorite crafty things to do because it is soooooo simple, inexpensive, offers a lot of versatility and the end results are very nice!

For our Thanksgiving  table centerpiece decor we came up Velum & Ribbon Candle Wraps.

To make your own velum and ribbon candle wraps you will need:
Candles. Sheets of scrap book velum from the craft store. Wide width wired ribbon. Narrow metallic ribbon. Double sided tape. Scissors.

Wrap the velum sheet around candles and secure with double sided tape. {Since we used large pillar candles a 12 x 12 sheet worked perfectly}.

Cut to fit the wide width ribbon and tape onto the velum wrapped candle. Do the same with the narrower ribbon. Finished!

We placed our velum and ribbon candles in and among white pumpkins and one carmel colored pumpkin on our table.
We love the rustic and chic combo together.

We kept the black candle sticks since, well we like them!

Count your many blessings and be thankful for family, they are the legacy of a lifetime.

Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
