Candy Cane Gingerbread Mantel

Candy canes and gingerbread and visions of sugar plums dancing through our heads.
We have a deep love for candy canes and gingerbread ANYTHING!

We were feeling the need to pull out our old friends and decorate a Candy Cane Gingerbread Mantel.

The "star" of the mantel if you will, is the gingerbread house. It is a Slatkin candle house where a candle sits in it and lights up all the windows.

Don't you just want to break off a piece of the house and eat it!

Here is another sweet gingerbread house. This one is a wax tart burner. Drop in a scented wax melt and the house smells wonderful!

Just love the roof top decorations.

And one more gingerbread house. This one is made of resin and does not use candles.

Here are some old gingerbread friends that we just adore!

Angle gingerbread candle holder this time holding a peppermint Christmas bulb.

A sort of snowman gingerbread character carrying a cookie and toy gingerbread boy.

Baby gingerbread boy dressed in his candy bib and teething on a peppermint stick.

Mamma baker gingerbread girl. Holding a basket of freshly baked treats in one hand a a rolling pin in the other. The baking this time of year is unending...but so much fun!

Big gingerbread sister in her candy trimmed pinafore.

Our newest addition as a birthday gift. Simply... love.

What about these cookie Christmas trees?!

And look at the sandwich cookie bottom!

Candy canes galore!

Candy canes and gingerbread does a heart good!

Counting down the days of Christmas with our Advent Mantel Garland.

Have you decorated your mantel for this Christmas season?

She [Mary] will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
