Comic Book Snow Globes For Boys

When boys are really young a snow globe is a snow globe is a snow globe... but when they are older...10,11, 12 say... they need a snow globe more suited to their likes.

Maybe something like our Comic Book Snow Globes!

The fun part of this craft project was deciding the theme...
comic book super hero's won out.

We made three different comic book character snow globes. Superman, Batman and the Riddler.

Craft items you will need

Comic book super hero figures {found ours at the craft store}

Miniature trees

Large cut glitter made for water globes

Glycerin {found at health food or drug store}

Water resistant adhesive

Mason jar with lid
                                              How to make your snow globe

Begin by placing characters and trees on the inside of the jar seal to get an idea of placement prior to using adhesive.

Once you are happy with placement, follow directions and apply adhesive to pieces and allow to cure as directed.

Place 1 - 2 tablespoons of snow globe glitter into jar.

Next fill jar with distilled water and depending on the size of jar, 5 - 20 drops of glycerin to the water.

Carefully insert your character seal into the jar and secure the lid on tightly.

Now give the snow globe a good shake.

"You won't get away with that Riddler"

Batman is too cool! Our favorite of the three.

Love how they look when the sunlight hits them.

We made these to have out all Christmas long, but they would also make a cool homemade gift for a boy.

...that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
