Festive Ornament Drink Bauble

STOP!!! Don't serve your Christmas beverage in just any old ordinary cup, get creative and make a Festive Ornament Drink Bauble instead!

Can't take credit for this creative idea... all the credit goes to Dawn, of Not Just a Mommy blog.

So you know after seeing these,
we had to get busy and make a set of our own for our Christmas festivities!

Materials need to make Ornament Drink Bauble

Clear plastic Christmas ornaments

2 inch carbone rings found in the knitting section of craft store {we could not find any so we cut rings from sturdy gift wrap tubes}

Mod Podge

Paint brush

Fine glitter

Remove ornament caps from ornaments and wash and dry ornaments before proceeding.

Begin by glittering up your rings. Apply Mod Podge to rings and than glitter. Let dry and add another coat if needed.

Once dry, use adhesive to attach rings to the bottoms of the ornaments. Allow to dry.

After using wash ornament by hand keeping water off the outside ring area as much as possible. Use a bit of dish soap dripped inside the ornament and rinse.
If ring does get wet try to sun dry it.

Now they are ready for party drinks!

Take your time filling these with your favorite drinks. You want to keep the ring on the bottom dry. Don't need any last seconds messes to clean up with party guests arriving.

"So nice to see you. Care for a drink"?

It is bound to be a very merry party with these festive ornament drink baubles in attendance!

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
