If pumpkin is the food for early Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving, gingerbread and peppermint must be made for Christmas! At least they are in our Christmas world.
We came up with a healthy Gingerbread Smoothie that made our taste buds very happy!
To make a Gingerbread smoothie
To a blender add 1 1/2 cups non dairy milk
1-2 tablespoons molasses
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
To you liking fresh grated ginger
Liquid sweetener to your liking
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Make this really yummy gingerbread smoothie and chill it really well before serving.
Even on those snowy, icy days, it is not too cold for a gingerbread smoothie!
