Is the weather outside where you are frightful? Any hope of a white Christmas here is California? Probably not, but... we can pretend a little with our Snowball Cupcake Ornaments.
We all probably remember those snowball cupcakes we ate as kids. Now we are all grown up and instead of eating those, we hang cupcakes on our Christmas tree.
Craft items you will need
Tutorial for making the yarn snowballs from
White fluffy yarn that resembles "snow"
Styrofoam balls
Cupcake papers
Decorative trim
Hot glue
Jingle bells
Bakers twine or string
Making Cupcake Ornaments
Once you have made your snowballs following the instructional link above it is time to assemble and decorate.
Place some hot glue into your cupcake paper and place your snowball on top of the glue and gently, but firmly hold until set.
Place a few dots of glue on the inside of the cupcake paper and press together to the snowball to secure the paper to the snowball.
Glue on your selected trim to your snowball.
Glue bell to the top of the snowball.
Once all parts are dry you are ready to hang or package up as gifts!
