Stickers & Stripes Handmade Ornaments

Making homemade Christmas ornaments as gifts or for your own Christmas tree has to be counted as one of the many traditions of Christmas.

Each one is a labor of love from the maker and a keepsake for many a Christmas to come.

Today we are adding to our collection these Stickers & Stripes Ornaments.

Craft materials needed

Round paper mache ornaments from the craft store
Striped scrap book paper
Feather boa
Alphabet stickers
Bakers twine
Hot glue

Making Stickers & Stripes Ornaments

Begin by tracing the ornament on the scrap book paper. Cut out two circles of scrap book paper. One for each side. A plain side and a decorated side.

Glue paper circles onto the ornament base.

Apply your sticker letters to spell out words, greetings etc.

Glue on boa around the ornament.

Add a little bakers twine bow to the top of the ornament.

We used words that are meaningful to our family at Christmas time and really, anytime.

Have you made some handmade Christmas ornaments for your tree this year?
