Winter Valentine Mantel

We love the visual of a red heart in the Winter snow. That is our Valentine theme is this year. And not a hard task to execute, especially since we put up Winter decorations after we took down the Christmas stuff. We were able to use the Winter decorations right into decorating our Winter Valentines Mantel

We hope you find some inspiration for your Valentines Day decorating.

To make the point of the red heart in the snow, we took our glass jars, added fake snow and added red heart shaped glass bottles and snowflakes. Valentines Day is a Winter celebration, so the Winter elements added that aspect.

To add affect to our candles we used red paper and a heart punch to make very budget savvy candle wraps. We saved the hearts from the punch and used them for another craft. Nothing goes to waste!

Snowballs, Winter and Valentines Day all come together with a homemade Styrofoam ball and a heart cut from felt.

Just had to make up some Valentine waterless snow globes to grace our mantel.

We took our Winter White Wreath and added a few hearts.

Our Winter mantel trees received a light sprinkle of red hearts.

Do you live in an area where you could actually decorate with real snow and red hearts? How lovely if you are.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not corrupt and thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-20
