Lemon Play Dough for Boys

We are keeping hands and creative minds busy with a childhood favorite past time... play dough!

If you are looking for a fun new Easter play dough, why not give our Lemon Play Dough a try!

Lemon Play Dough Recipe

1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cream of tarter
1 cup water
Lemon essential oil to your liking
food coloring (just add until you get the desired color)

• mix all of the ingredients  together in a sauce pan.
• place on medium high heat on the stove
• stir frequently until the dough starts pulling away from the sides of the pan.
• remove from the stove.
• let dough cool enough to handle, then knead the dough, adding several drops of  Lemon essential oil. You could try using lemon extract, although we have not, and can not vouch for the results.
• place it in an airtight container.

Should keep for up to one month.

Let the play dough battle begin!

To keep the play dough in we recycled a container and made a special cover that would appeal to boys on PicMonkey.

Christ has indeed been raised, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
