Are you like me and hear every little bump in the night and than have a hard time getting back to dreamland?
Whatever it may be that is affecting the quality of sleep, I have found essential oil really helps me to get a deeper sleep and stay asleep longer than I normally do.
Not making any medical claims here, but I am happy to vouch for my personal experience since using our
Sweet Dreams Essential Oil Blend.
It worked and continues to work for me as I prefer this over any medications, and it may work for you also.
Below are the essential oils used in the remedy blend and their healing properties as pertain to sleep.
Lavender: calming, sleep aid.
Roman Chamomile: creates inner peace.
Vetiver: grounding, calming, sedates nervous irritations,restlessness good for insomnia.
Ylang Ylang: sedative, relief from stress and anxiety, relaxing.
Bergamot: relaxant, sedative, soothes nervous tension, anxiety and stress which can help cure or treat aliments associated with stress such as sleeplessness.
Sandalwood: sedates inflammation that can cause sleeplessness, anxiety, fear, stress, induces calm, relaxation.
Sweet Dreams Essential Oil Blend Recipe
Lavender oil 15 drops
Roman Chamomile 15 drops
Vetiver 20 drops
Ylang Ylang 8 drops
Bergamot 8 drops
Sandalwood 5 drops
Carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil or almond oil
10ml. roller ball bottle
Add essential oils one at a time to the roller ball bottle.
Fill the bottle the rest of the way with carrier oil.
Secure top. Gently shake.
Apply in the evening about 15 minutes prior to retiring.
Apply to both feet and back of neck.
