We just love the idea of a Thankful Tree. We love that although we daily are thankful for a lot of things, with a Thankful Tree we get to really be focused and specific and visibly show on our tree just what those "thankful" things are.
Our Thankful Tree is also a Thanksgiving advent tree as well. Each evening up until Thanksgiving we are taking one leaf out of the pumpkin jar, reading the scripture verse and writing what we are thankful for the back of the leaf and hanging it on the tree.
To make a Thankful Tree you will need branches, vessel to hold the branches in, paper for printing, scissors, hole punch, string and these awesome scripture leaves from
A Holy Experience. We LOVE this blog!
