White Christmas Mantel

Our White Christmas Mantel is finally done! We love a good labor of love decor project.  And this just happened to be one of them. To put our mantel together we rummaged through decorations and things around the house we felt fit the theme, not liking some of the way things looked and loving others and even whipped up a couple decorations to make it all the merrier.

The focus of the mantel is on the birth of Jesus. And the all white with some silver, seems to really be appropriate in keeping our focus on Him.

We found some silver tinsel trees at the Dollar Store and embellished them with some garland, Christmas bulbs ans star on top.

We love the birch bark pillar candles and looked for a less expensive way to have them in our Christmas decor. So we found one. (More on these in a future post).

Snowflakes in mercury glass mason jars.

Really impressed with the "mercury glass" candle votives we found at the Dollar Store.

A crystal tree.

White and wintry trees with a Christmas star on top.

And we come back to the true meaning of Christmas.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6
